Mulled wine is a popular tradition in Martin’s homeland of The Czech Republic where it is called Svařák. It is the perfect warm beverage for Winter. Once you try it, you will see how delicious and easy it is. You can make it with our Mystery Merlot, Volcano Zinfandel, or Granache. Big Island Bees makes an organic Lehua honey with vanilla bean that is amazing in this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of Martin Pohl Wines organic Volcano Zinfandel
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 whole cloves
- 2 star anise
- 1-2 vanilla bean pods
Directions
Step 1: Combine wine with spices in a small pot on low heat.
Step 2: Stir frequently and enjoy the aromas.
